Aim of Ministry:
To help promote and develop a wonderful church community spirit amongst the retired parishioners in the Good Shepherd Church.

To combat loneliness, encourage continue socialising, involvement in activities and outings together, support for each other, imparting a sense of belonging and needfulness in a time of life when things can become difficult with a loss of a life time partner etc.

We usually have two outings a year, plus a small holiday.
We have just had our 20th holiday!
What is required of members:
To help and participate in the organising of the club activities that are on offer.
Most of all come and enjoy yourselves!
How often do meetings take place?
Fortnightly during the school calendar.
Where do the meetings take place?
In the Parish Hall of the Good Shepherd Church.

An enjoyable outing on the 14 March 2013 was had by all who participated in a visit to Ecofarm at Scriveton. See photos below. Ideal place for school group visits.
